Alex Lomax, of Memphis East 2018, once again repeated as Tennessee's Mr. Basketball AAA. The 5'11" point guard is a fierce floor general that gets everyone involved and can take over offensively if need be. Check out some of his highlights from the 2016-2017 state championship season.

Kiveyon King (Memphis Kirby 2016)

Checkout highlights of one of the scoring leaders in the Memphis Metro area, Kiveyon King of Memphis Kirby HS. King gets buckets from the perimeter, the mid-range, and the paint. This young man could easily be the steal of the 2016 class in the area. He's ACT/SAT/GPA ready. If any college coach is looking for a good, tough, hard-nosed Memphis guard, Kiveyon is your man in 2016.

Tyran Davis, Memphis Mitchell/Team Penny 2017

Here's a look at Memphis Mitchell's Tyran Davis. Davis is a 5'11" bowling ball type point guard that excels at penetrating into the paint and is strong enough to finish with either hand. Davis also has great basketball IQ. Watch out for Tyran Davis and the Mitchell Tigers as they try to repeat as Tennessee Class A State champions.

Here's footage of Memphis East freshman forward, Chandler Lawson. Lawson is making quite the adjustment to high school basketball. Lawson in a do-it-all type forward with crazy length and sound basketball fundamentals. He is truly special.

Here are some action clips of Memphis East's stud point guard, Alex "A-lo" Lomax. For a young floor general, Lomax has crazy poise. The young man rarely gets rattled and is steady as they come. Lomax has always been pass first, but this year he's looking for his offense while still getting his teammates involved.

Kiveyon King, 6'2" Combo Guard, Memphis Kirby

Here's one of the most underrated guards in the area class of 2016. His name is Kiveyon King and he's attending Memphis Kirby. At 6'2", King isn't a small guard by far. He uses his body to create space for himself. King also has a great mid-range game, he's one of the best scorers inside the 3-point arc. This winter Kiveyon will be running with Memphis Kirby. College coaches: get to know this young man. He's a sleeper.

Chandler Lawson, Memphis East/Team Penny 2019 (Summer league)

Chandler Lawson is a 6'8" super talented do-everything type forward. Whether it's ball handling, rebounding, shooting or passing, Chandler can do it all. He's one of the best in the nation in his class and he has pretty big shoes to fill. His older brothers, KJ and Dedric, will be entering their freshman year at Memphis, while his younger brother, Jonathan, will be competing as one of the top midldle schoolers in the nation. It's going to be a busy time for the Lawson Family this upcoming basketball season. Check Chandler Lawson out at Memphis East this winter.

Here's some clips of all-around point guard, Alex Lomax out of Memphis East. Lomax has an incredible basketball IQ that allows him to see plays before they develop. Lomax has sneaky quicks and strengths. He has the ability to change pace and is strong enough to finish in the lane. Most importantly, Alex is a winner. Look for him this winter at Memphis East High where he will lead a young but extremely talented East squad on a quest for a state title.

Tray Boyd, Olive Branch (MS) HS/WACG All-Stars/M33M 2016

Here's are some of the Summer highlights of Olive Branch (MS) HS 2016 marksman, Tray Boyd. Boyd has one of the smoothest, quickest, and prettiest left handed release I've seen. He's a pure scorer and he's crafty as well. As a surprise to me, he's a super young senior. I don't think he has turned 17 years old yet. The room for growth is there and he's just scratching the surface of how good he really can be. College coaches should be blowing his phone and email up. Get in now and find yourself a gem. Calvin Temple, Olive Branch (MS) HS/WACG 2019

Here's some clips of freshman sharp shooter, Calvin Temple of Olive Branch (MS) HS. Calvin is apart of a super talented freshman class at Olive Branch HS. Temple is a court-savvy guard that can and will fill it up. He can easily be considered one of the best shooters in the area.

Dontrecia Johnson, Memphis Overton/Memphis Lady Magic 2017

Here's clips of Memphis Overton/Memphis Lady Magic's Dontrecia Johnson. Dontrecia is the catalyst that gets the offense running. She has a nice handle with the rock and she is a phenomenal on ball defender. You can catch Dontrecia Johnson this fall/winter at Memphis Overton High School ballin' for the Lady Wolverines.

Cameron Strickland, Memphis Academy of Health & Science 2016

Here's clips of District 16 A all-district performer, Cameron Strickland. Strickland led MAHS in scoring as a junior. He has good range on his jumper and can blow by defenders with his first step. He and his MAHS teammates are going to shock the city this upcoming 2016 Basketball season. Be on the look out.

Jaylen Fisher, Bolton (TN) High School/Team Thad 2016

Check out this quick hitter highlight of Jaylen Fisher, one of the Nation's best guards. Fisher is lightning quick, with super tight handles. Fisher isn't a small guard by any measure. He uses his quickness and strong body to get into the lane and finish. Jaylen has several high-major offers. Who ever gets him to commit, is getting a major piece to the puzzle of their team.

Brandon Streeter, MAHS 2017

Checkout Highlights of Memphis Academy  of Health & Science's Brandon Streeter. Streeter is a pass first point guard that can run the offense. As a point guard, Streeter is very vocal. Brandon has the ability to make the defense collapse with his penetration. He has no problem getting into the lane. Streeter has hit the gym this Summer to improve his shooting. It's paying off. Blake Williams, Cordova (TN) High School 2017

Here's clips of super smooth point guard, Blake Williams of Cordova (TN) High School. The silky lefty PG has always been mentioned amongst the best point guards in his class. Williams has a tight handles. It's almost like he has a yo-yo string attached to the rock. He has great body control and change of pace as well. Williams has worked hard this Summer to become a more consistent shooter. Although Blake has superb scoring ability, he's a willing passer with incredible court vision. Blake William is by far one of the better point guards nationally in the class of 2017.

Jalen Crutcher Buzzer Beater against Hoop Dream

Here's Jalen Crutcher late game heroics against vs. Hoop Dream in Atlanta. Jalen's star is steadily rising and he holds some great college offers just going into his junior year of High school. Message to college basketball coaches: If you get in now, chances are you can get a steal in one of the top point guards in the Memphis-Metro area's 2017 class.

Mark Freeman, Memphis Southwind/Team Penny 2018

Here are some clips of high motor point guard, Mark Freeman, of Memphis Southwind and Team Penny. Dude can flat out play. Mark has that change of pace element that all good point guards should have. Mark can score with the best of them, but prefers to run the team and get others involved. Freeman is a ball hawk on defense. It isn't safe to dribble in front of him because he specializes in cookie snatching. Check for Mark Freeman in the Fall at Memphis Southwind HS.

Trey Davis, Memphis St. Benedict/Memphis Kings 2018

Check out clips from St. Benedict's Trey Davis during the Hoop Play Nationals. Trey Davis is a lightning quick point guard that can score if needed, but can also be a floor general. Davis is a strong bodied guard that can take contact and still finish while driving in the lane. If you play him for the drive, Davis will kill you with his ability to stroke the jumper. Play him for the jumper, Davis will use his strength and quickness to get by you. The 2018 class of guards is a beast and Trey Davis is one of the better ones. College coaches get on him quick!
