Nick King: Live @ The Super 80

Image
Blew up! That's the best phase that describe Nick King's burst from an unknown baller to a 5 star highly ranked hooper. After playing on an under-performing East High basketball team, Nick King 2013, took full advantage of the spring and summer AAU scene. Nick, who is a 6'7" silky smooth lefty wing, was absolutly amazing for the YOMCA 16 and under team. It was King's last second bucket that earned the "Y" the 16 and U championship at this year's Nike Peach Jam. On top of being an outstanding basktball player, King is an excellent young man. Please sit back and enjoy.

Memphis Magic travel team head coach, Eric "Cowboy" Robinson took time out with PM Hoops's Charley Bass during The Super 80 fall basketball leauge, which he runs. Over the past decade, Eric "Cowboy" Robinson's name has become synonomus with youth basketball in the City of Memphis. It was only two years ago that he coached a stacked Memphis Magic Team to an Adidas Super 64 title. That team was headed by current University of Memphis hoop stand-outs Joe Jackson, Tarik Black, Chris Crawford, and Adonis Thomas. Cowboy talked about his current version of the Memphis Magic. He mentioned Ridgeway's senior duo Cameron Golden and Adam Weary as two of his leaders from the Summer. Cowboy commentted on his Memphis Magic Alums such as: Joe Jackson, Chris Crawford, and Adonis Thomas. Robinson also touched on his efforts with the Mid-South Basketball Academy. He even proclaimed the City of Memphis as "The New Millenium Basketball Mecca".

This is an interview I did with Jarnell Stokes a month before the beginning of his junior campagne. All that has changed since then is that Stokes has more than solidified his place as one of the nation's top hoop prospects of 2012.Here's what I said about Jarnell a year ago. Jarnell Stokes, Rival's 9th ranked basketball prospect in the nation 2012, sat down with PM Hoops's Charley Bass to discuss how his summer was, the recruiting process, what's he adding to his game and more. At 6'9", Stokes has an arsenal of low post moves. He has the strength to over -power and also has the ability to finess his oppenent. Going into his junior year, Stokes stated that he is working towards becoming a more versital basketball player. Look for amazing work from Jarnell Stokes in 2010-11.
