Image
Here's some clips of 2016 sharp shooter Tray Boyd, of Olive Branch (MS) HS, from the University of Memphis team camp and the MUS summer league. Tray excels at the catch-and-shoot spot up. He also can create space for himself off the bounce. Boyd has one of the quickest releases to his shot and has several release points as well. Shooters are needed in any type of system irregardless of pace of play. Catch up with Tray Boyd on the Summer circuit with either WACG or M33M.

Jesse Neloms, Memphis Lausanne/ Arkansas Wings 2017 Pt. 1 & 2

Image
Here's highlights of Jesse Neloms, of Memphis Lausanne 2017. Neloms is a speedy pass first point guard that has no problem penetrating into the lane off the bounce and finding team mates. He's also a heady pg that can get a team into its sets and offense. Jesse's offensive skills must be respected. If you play off him, he'll sting you with the jumper. If played closely, he gets by defenders with his handles and speed. Check Neloms out on the circuit running with the Arkansas Wings Elite 16 and under.

Nathan Hoover, Arlington (TN) HS/ Team Thad Pt. 1 & 2

Image
Since we last heard from Nathan Hoover, he has picked up quite a few SEC offers. Hoover has been killing it on the Under Armour Circuit as well. Here is the second part of his High School highlights from Arlington (TN). Nathan is a dead-eye shooter that can drain shots of the bounce or with the catch and shoot. Who ever lands Hoover, will have a player on their hand no doubt.

Carlos Sandifer, Olive Branch (MS) HS

Image
Here's Highlights of 2018 PG Carlos Sandifer, of Olive Branch (MS) HS, from the Jerry Peters's MUS Summer League. Carlos is lightning quick with the rock and has deep range on his jumper. He specializes in penetration and kicking the rock out to the open man. Next fall, Sandifer will lead a talented but young Olive Branch team that will compete in Northern Mississippi.

Chase Hayden, St. George's Independent School/M33M 2017

Image
Although he's a stud on the grid-iron, Chase Hayden is a heck of a basketball player too. He already holds football offers from Vanderbilt and University of Tennessee. On the court, Hayden is a speedster with good solid handles with the rock. He has good elevation on his jumper and can get his shot off. He also has good leadership qualities. Look out for Chase Hayden on the grid-iron and hardwood.

TJ Moss, 2018 Memphis East/ Team Penny

He also can get to the rack at will. Moss has the ability to play the passing lanes on defense with great anticipation. At 6'4", TJ Moss has good size and length. TJ is on of the top scoring guards in the state irregardless of class. Catch TJ this spring and summer on the EYBL circuit ballin' for Team Penny.

Chandler Lawson's dunk during the MAM's Championship game

Chandler Lawson-6'7" forward- Memphis American Way Middle 2019

Image
Chandler is the third Lawson brother behind KJ and Dedric, both whom are University of Memphis commits. Chandler is super lengthy, his body type reminds me of a young Stacey Augmon. His skill set is off the charts, there is literally nothing this young man can't do on the basketball court. Wether its rebounding, initiating the fast break, shooting, scoring, or using his long arms to block and change shots, Chandler can impact the game in a variety of ways. Check in with Chandler as his game grows and develops. He has a chance to be one of the greats.

Khalill Spencer - Memphis Ridgeway/Arkansas Wings 2015

Image
Khalill Spencer is a big strong forward/guard with skills to play inside as well. At 6'4", Spencer has transformed his body in the last year with obvious work in the weight room. He's very physical with his handsparticularly on defense where he uses his strenght to push bigger players out or keeps quicker guys from going around him. He's more athletic than he seems to be because he has gotten much much stronger in the last year and his new athleticism helps him even more now.

Jabari Parker-2013 Chicago Simeon- Duke commit @ the Penny Hardaway Hoop...

Image
According to whom you ask, Jabari Parker is the #1 high school basketball player in the 2013 class in the nation. Fresh off of his commitment to Duke University, Parker and Simeon HS traveled to Memphis,TN to compete in the Penny Hardaway Hoops Fest. Here's a short interview and a few highlights of Jabari Parker from the Penny Hardaway Hoops Fests.

Carter Sweat-Combo Guard/Center Hill (MS) High School 2015

Image
Check out footage of Center Hill (MS) High's Carter Sweat from the Jerry Peters's Summer Shootout. At 6'4", Carter can stroke it with the best of them. Sweat is almost automatic from the mid-range and is just as deadly behind the arc as well. Carter's handles are on point too, but his best skill is moving without the rock. Carter utilizes screens and pin-downs to create scoring opportunities and at 6'4", Sweat can easily get his shot off. College coaches: get in while you can because this kid is a steal.

Jalen Crutcher- Germantown (TN) HS/Pure Magic Elite 2017

Image
Here's some clips of Germantown/ Pure Magic Elite PG, Jalen Crutcher. Crutcher is tearing it up on the Adidas Summer circuit. Crutcher is a 5'10" Point Guard that's a ball mover. He's not the flashiest passer, but his passes are practical and precise. Jalen also has the ability to knock down open and contested jumpers. Message to college basketball coaches and recruiters: Get in on him early. Enjoy!

Keelon "KJ" Lawson- 2015 University of Memphis Commit

Image
Check out clips of Memphis Commit, Keelon Lawson, Jr. According to what ever recruiting publication you prescribe to, Lawson is considered to be a top 30 high school basketball prospect in the nation. The 6'7" wing forward is a pure scoring machine, but his game isn't limited to just buckets. Keelon Jr. is a savage rebounder as well and he's a more the capable defender too. Memphis is going to love what they're getting in "KJ".

Rayford Albright- 2014 Memphis Manassas/ Unsigned Senior

Image
Here are some clips of Rayford Albright from the Tigersportsreport.com's Unsigned Senior Showcase held in Memphis,TN. Albright is a full academic qualifier that can flat out play. It is my opinion that Rayford played at a small school and he never played for any of the prominent AAU/Travel teams in the area, he kind of slipped through the cracks as for gaining exposure. Rayford's game speaks for its self. At 5'8", Albright uses his quickness to get inside the lane for the score or the set up. Despite his size, Albright is strong enough to finish amongst the trees. His jump shot is nothing to snooze on as well. His handles and quickness provides all the space needed to get his shot off. Enjoy!

Kylan Phillips-Memphis Mitchell/Memphis Hoopers 2015

Image
Kylan Phillips was a major cog in the Mitchell High basketball machine. Flanked by two team mates that were prolific scorers, Phillips job was to set them up. As the son of a coach, Phillips has the ability to see the game from another perspective. His basketball IQ is off the charts. Kylan is also a pest on the defensive end. He's the type of aggravating defender that gets under the ball handler and causes turn-overs. This past season, Kylan helped led Memphis Mitchell to the Class A Tennessee State Championship during his junior campaign. Watch out for Kylan Phillips this Summer with the Memphis Hoopers
